Mandolina Moscato Santa Barbara County 2009 (USA)

Very pale straw color. The nose is amazingly fragrant with scents of honeysuckle, white peach, and mangosteen with accents of acacia, crystalized ginger, and jasmine. The palate is somehow more expressive with a bright note of sweet fruit with complimenting notes of orange zest, green tea, and ruby red grapefruit. Ideally balanced matching sweetness with fresh acidity and a bit of citrus zest. A wonderful brunch wine or an aperitif. It also pairs well with spicy fare.
